The material is on the light side. Did not suspect it would give me any warm, but it does. They look lovely on too.

Not as good as they used to be
A little disappointing because they are not as good as they used to be. I was expecting a nice fleece or flannel lining. Instead it's a cotton lining that doesn't really do much against the cold. The pockets also changed from snap down (which are nice when carrying a phone or small wallet) to a flap which doesn't really protect things from falling out. Some different colors would also be nice for a change instead of just dark blue and green.

Not the same quality as in the past. Lining was a woven fabric, but not flannel as in the past.

Fit pants
New model,more $,better than any others I have found,pockets bigger,good for cold, wet days and dogs around San Francisco in winter.Probably would add base layer if I still lived in Massachusetts. Wore a 6 in old lined cargoes, wear an 8 in these.Adding a few more pairs, wear these all the time because they are so comfortable.

Nice fit
5’-7” , 145 lbs and size 12 was a comfortable fit. Love that these pants are actually cotton and flannel lined. A little lighter than expected, but pretty warm and not bulky is nice.

Great pants for cooler hiking days
I love these pants. The liner is the perfect weight for cooler hiking days. They keep you warm without being too sweltering; it is a fine line to balance, and LL Bean has struck a balance with these pants. They wash great and are great to pack.
