Adequate choice
I bought these pants for warmth during New England winters. They are adequate; however, they are NOT as good as the old Bayside twill pants, lined and unlined both.
These wrinkle more, and, since the materials are thinner; they are a little less warm than the Bayside Twill lined pants from the past. The fit on these pants is as described but may not be suitable for more curvy women.

Don't believe the description. NOT flannel-lined.
I just bought these pants thinking I could wear them in winter because the DETAILED description says they are flannel-lined. THEY ARE NOT. The canvas is thin, and the lining is a lightweight loose-weave cotton thinner than a pocket handkerchief, and not "brushed" like flannel. I have 2 pairs of Bean flannel lined pants, and an education in textiles, so I know what I'm talking about. I also can't understand the high price-point for these, although I did buy mine on a rare sale...still not a great value. Having said all this, I opted to keep them ONLY because I am VERY hard to fit and these are comfortable on me and a suitable cut. Figuring out WHEN to wear them is a question for another day.
