207 pants buyer par
207 pants are disappointing.
I have bought similar pairs of pants from L.L.Bean in the past. Those were great: sturdy, a medium-weight fabric that washed well and the pants had roomy button-down pockets. I purchased the new pants, the 207s as replacements (the former pants have been discontinued). But the 207s are disappointing. 1) the fabric is very thin and only good for summer 2) the waist button is loose on both pairs I bought; I had to sew them to prevent them from coming off after the first wash even before I had worn them 3) the pockets need to have buttons on them to function properly as pockets and to stop them from gaping open after the first wash 4) there’s a gap between the waist button and the top of the fly zipper so the pants don’t close well there.

Pretty good
These run a bit large overall but but are comfortable. I wish that the vertical pocket had a zipper and was repeated on the other pant leg.

Color is important!
The pants fit great, and I like that the cargo pockets don't have stick-out flaps; gives a smoother, more tailored appearance. I bought the green color; however, it's not at all like the subdued green of the original cargo pants - it is Forest Service green - the same color I've been wearing in uniforms until I retired! Ugh! I'm over that - exchanged for the gray, but have not yet received them. I hope that my review will improve.

Perfect Casual Pant
These pants are great all around. The fit is well balanced from the waist to the hips and down the legs. I love that the straight leg is not too wide or too narrow. The material is perfect for three seasons and holds it's shape well.
