Appropriate petite sizing
In its earlier days LL Bean could be counted upon for consistent petite sizing. It’s been a long time since that consistency could be relied upon, since most petite items have been much too long to flatter the petite figure. However, the petite sizing on this shirt seems correct. The shoulders are correctly placed, and the length is right. I ordered my usual size, Petite Medium, and the shirt fits well. One word of warning: if you like oversized tops, this one is not for you. There isn’t an extra spare inch on this one, which is probably why it
fits perfectly on a 5’2” 120 pound person. The dark purple color is beautiful, as is the silky pima that LL Bean continues to provide.

I love the details and the fit of this tee.
LL Beans Pima cottons are the best. I like the V-neck and collar, it gives some personality to the shirt. I would like to see this shirt for winter in a long sleeve.

Too Small
I love this shirt except it is smaller than I like around the middle. It’s also a little long. If an item is described as slightly fitted by Bean, then it is too tight. I will look for relaxed fit. Not a typical medium in my experience with other brands. I did order this in Petite Large, & that works better—-not so tight or long.

Purchased for travel, this is a good base for wearing alone or layering. The fabric is a comfortable weight, fairly wrinkle free after a day of wear, and maintained its shape after laundering (hung to dry.)
