Highly recommend
I've been wearing the former version of this boot for many years. Loved them. Was afraid to buy this new version due to reading some negative reviews. Glad I didn't listen. Things written (about the tongue, the laces) were completely untrue. Except for one thing, I'd have given it 5 stars: the sheepskin lining is noticeably thinner. However, the boots are keeping my feet at least as warm. They are comfy, and despite ordering a size up (they were out of my size) they fit just fine. The change in outer materials are immaterial to the look and comfort of the boot.

So warm and comfy!!
Love these lodge boots! They are cozy warm, easy to slip on and have great traction. I wear them walking to and from my barn in all kinds of weather year round. Deep snow in the winter, mud in the spring and puddles in the summer. I have barn boots I change into at my barn but I needed something I could quickly put on to get to the barn. These are perfect for that.

Fix the Shearling Issue
I'm on my second pair of the original version of this slipper. The shearling on the original version was so thick it would take about a week of wearing for it to mold around my foot and then it was perfect. I wanted to get another pair as I wear these every single day. I am worried now about getting this version with the thinner shearling, it was what MAKES this boot/slipper. I will hold off until Bean's changes back to the original shearling, for $160, it has to be right.

I love my first pair of wicked good boots.
The second pair is made with faux leather and faux lining. Not at all like the original pair I have. I sent them back and will continue to wear the old ones

Lightweight & warm
These boots are great. They’re ultra warm without the bulk of other boots of this style. The leather is super soft, and stands up well to me running in and out of the house in the snow/ice. They have a roomy fit which I love, and it’s easily adjustable.
