Comfortable, squishy, and working for me
I have plantar fasciitis and sesamoiditis in my left foot, and have had to shift to shoes with squishy footbeds. My regular Wicked Good scuffs did not provide enough cushioning and I was stuck wearing recovery slides around the house - leaving me with cold feet. So I was excited to see this new product. I wear a true 7.5 and bought these in both 7 and 8, because I like to wear socks with my slippers (and I prefer the snugger fit of the 7 in the scuffs). At first, I thought the 7's were way too small even for barefoot wear. But they stretched and the shearling impacted, and they are now the preferred fit for barefoot. I kept the 8's to wear with socks - they are definitely too loose for comfortable barefoot wear (at least for my idea of "comfortable" - my foot slides around). So if you are between sizes - consider how you want to wear these slippers (barefoot or with socks) and order accordingly.

Run small, look large
These slippers are so large on my feet I felt like a duck. And my usual size 7 was too tight- I’d have to order an 8! I love that LLBean continues to use real sheepskin linings instead of the faux stuff that makes your feet sweat. I buy their sheepskin liners and they help my winter boots stay cozy. That’s why I tried these. For me, they just missed the mark.

Looks great, but it’s still just a slipper. No sup
Super hard to get on, and then the foot bed is not supportive at all. Despite it looking like an athletic shoe, it literally did nothing to support my foot.

Love but wish they came in half sizes
The eights are a little too big. The sevens are a little too small but 7 1/2 would be perfect.

Finally! My perfect winter slipper
For the last handful of years, I’ve been looking for a unicorn: a slide-in indoor/outdoor winter slipper that’s stable enough to walk down a flight of stairs. Here’s the thing: I have a long, narrow foot. Everything without a heel strap slips off. Most slippers are way too wide to be stable, even as a slingback, to walk down a flight of stairs without landing in the hospital.
Until now. Hallelujah. These slippers come just high enough to not slide off. Just narrow enough to feel stable while walking. Well made too. Recommended for others in the same boat.
