Strings
Boots are nice. Strings that came with them are too short. I called a the lady sent meet a new set which were skinnier than what came with the boots. The strings that came with them are 53”, 63 to 68” would be far better.

A fantastic pair of hiking boots.
I’ve had multiple generations of the Trail Model hiking boot, this is the best one yet. Comfortable right out of the box and so far they’ve been great on the trail. Can’t wait to put them to the test on some more fall and winter hikes.

These boots fit great and are super comfortable .After trying about a dozen pairs of different Hikers, I tried the LL Bean Model X . I am very happy with them. The extra height at the front prevents toe slamming while going down steep trails, A problem I was having with other boots.

Very comfortable boots
These boots were very comfortable on a recent trip to the alps in Austria. Somehow, even more comfortable than my walking shoes. I’m sure they will be great this winter in the snow.

Good boot BUT!!
These are supposed to be 11ee. No way! Closer to just 11. My toes have no room at all!

A good value
I am very pleased with the Trail Model X boots that I bought from LLBean. I have worn them a dozen or so times so far for light hiking. There was no break-in period and I never got a hot spot on my foot. Size is true to my measured size. I would buy them again.
