My husband loves them. He had worn out an earlier similar pair of slippers from LL Bean so he wasn’t sure he wanted to see if he was as lucky with a different style. If anything, he enjoys the thicker sole & no bow tie on these even more!

Leather Slipper
I ordered the slippers for myself. I needed a slipper that I could stand in while I work. These slippers are the best I have ever had. Very comfortable and they look like they will last a very long time.

Rather shoe-like
I have worn Leather Double-Sole Slippers, Leather-Lined for decades and found them nearly perfect except for the laces chronically coming untied and the leather soles wearing through. On one of my previous pair I had a local shoe repair shop put thin Vibram soles on them when they wore through. That shoemaker is no longer in business and I haven't found another who could perform the same service, so I tried these Lodge Moc Vibram Slippers. My complaint is they are too shoe-like. The soles are thick and heavy with little flexibility and the insoles are some sort of synthetic. These are not comfortable slippers for padding around the house and occaisionally venturing out to the mailbax. They're essentially shoes. If only I could get some nice all-leather slippers with a thin Vibram sole! The closest I've found are Minnetonka driving mocs, which look like they may do nicely but at $200 they're rather pricey for slippers.

Poor fit
These slippers were too tight in the toe box, and too loose in the heel. I thought about wearing them for a while, in an attempt to break them in. But then I realized that slippers should not need to be "broken in." They are advertised as a D width, which is my size, but these are narrower than that. If the toe box had fit properly, I would have considered getting some sort of heel insert/liner, which may have worked. I saw that other reviewers noted that the slippers were loose in the heel as well. In my opinion, they were therefore not worth the price, and I returned them.
