This weather-ready hat is lightweight, provides UPF 50+ sun protection and is perfect for three season wear. Main body of hat is made from recycled fabric.

Doesn't give satisfactory sun protection
It's a nice hat and fits well, but doesn't offer much sun protection. I can feel the top of my head burning after being outside for a short time. I have an older LL Bean bucket hat that was great and I've worn for years. Comparing the new and old, the new only has one thin layer for the top of the hat. The old one has two thicker layers, with the inner layer being a sort of overlapping pocket like a tilley hat. Given my old hat is getting to the end of the line, I'm sad that the new hat isn't a sufficient replacement.

Comfortable to wear

Adjustable Hat
I like that the hat has an adjustable elastic around your head. I gave four stars because I haven't t been out in the wind yet with the hat to see if it stays on my head. The fabric is thinner than the fabric on an LL Bean bucket hat that I got several years ago.
