Inspired by a vintage L.L.Bean shirt spotted by our designers, in rugged herringbone fabric with triple-needle stitching. Specially dyed for an already-broken-in look and feel.
- Herringbone weave.

sturdier version of sunwashed canvas shirt
My husband lives in the slim-cut sunwashed canvas shirts, so when they stopped offering the slim fit version (bring them back, please!), he tried this field shirt. It's a slightly heavier material, but looks great and fits his slender 135 lb 5' 8" frame well. The green is a soft, mossy color. I'd love to see it offered in a salmon or a a light blue. Nice stitching, too.

Rugged but stiff
This shirt needs ironing after washing. The fabric is also stiff and somewhat hard to button. It is a pretty good looking shirt.
