Too long
2” longer than other LL Bean sweatpants same size so returned. Liked the thickness. Waistband somewhat rigid so may be uncomfortable for some body types

Style and quality: instant favorite!
I started wearing these right away and didn't want to wear anything else! I originally bought a bigger size than I usually do based on reviews, but I had to exchange for my usual size, which was perfect. I've been looking for this silhouette for a long time–high waisted with wide legs. I am grateful for the fabric blend, less static than pure synthetics. Good construction; no loose threads or crooked seams, substantial waist elastic and tie. The logo is inconspicuous (!), though none at all would be preferable. I would like to see more colors: navy or dark gray? I definitely want to get another pair. I very much hope that the matching hoodie will eventually be offered in petite sizes.

Just got them today. Fabric is so thick. Will keep them and wear for the cold days in the south. Not what I expected.

Buttery soft!!!
These are buttery soft. I’ve had no problems with the waist band as some have commented. I love them. They are trendy, yet comfy. My only complaint is that for a petite, they are a bit too long. I bought medium petite.

Surprisingly Cozy
Decided to branch out with these pants as I'm usually more of a jogger fan. These are surprisingly cozy. They are super soft and comfortable. They are pretty thick as well, thicker than my LL Bean Cozy Joggers. I have not had any concerns with the waistband. I found the grey pants I received did have a pretty stretchy waistband although it is more substantial than the Cozy Jogger band (for comparison). The leg openings are pretty wide, so I'm getting used to that. I'm 5'4 and got a petite size and the length is perfect.

Nice pants but...
I think that the waistband is snug, rigid and a bit unforgiving. The fabric is thick and warm, and the legs hang well but none of that matters if the waist is too tight. I an 5 ft 7 inches, 150 lbs, size 10, hips 38.5, waist 31. Medium is my go to size for Bean clothes. These are being returned unfortunately. I was hoping that these could replace my older ultrasoft wide leg pants which were perfect, but they won't. Alas.

Waistband tight, rest of the pants great
I bought these and tried to wear them. However, the waistband was super tight. I really wanted to love them and I did love the rest of them, but the waistband was a no-go so I sent them back. I had ordered them in a medium and two other LL Bean sweats of a different type that I ordered at the same time in the same size fit fine. Not these. Size up!

Snug, inflexible waistband
The waistband is tight and unexpectedly has almost no stretch! Hard to get on over the hips because of it.
I'm on my 2nd day of wearing them and I'm on the fence on whether to keep them. Overall they are comfortable, the fabric is nice, and the style is modern-to-trendy. I'd prefer the width at the ankles be slightly less floppy to be more practical.
I need a reliable replacement for my Cozy Joggers, which have been my uniform in life (have bought probably 10 pairs over the years). If Bean made those in a straight leg, that would be my perfect pants. Was hoping these could fit the bill but waistband will keep them from being the new fave.
