Odd neckline & cut, nice fabric
Bought in size L (my size at LLBean for years) but the fit is odd. Collar is cut away more than I would like (to fit more people?) and looks awkward. Shoulder seams are a bit wide, but I couldn't wear a Medium because the hips would be too small on this barrel-shaped top. As is so common now when women's tops have minimal shaping -- darts are a thing of the past -- it's a bit too big on top and just barely big enough on the bottom (and my proportions are normal). As others noted, it shrinks noticeably in length. And though the fabric isn't heavy, it's not as ethereal as the title implies. How to answer below? Would recommend to friend with fat neck, I guess! Both too large and too small!
