Disappointing fit and fabric for the price
I bought two of these shirts expecting the quality I associate with L.L.Bean, and unfortunately I’m extremely disappointed.
First, the sizing runs very large. I normally wear a Large and it usually fits me fairly snugly. The Large in this shirt fits more like a very roomy XL and looks quite boxy on me.
The bigger problem, though, is the fabric. These shirts wrinkle terribly. I’ve tried hanging one to dry and it was still covered in wrinkles. I then tried putting it in the dryer, and it was still wrinkled. For a casual short-sleeve shirt, it’s simply not realistic to have to iron it every time you want to wear it.
The shirt does seem to be well constructed, so if the appearance and wrinkling don’t bother you, you may be perfectly happy with it. But at this price point, I expected much better. I bought two thinking they would become regulars in my wardrobe, but I’ve worn one only once and was embarrassed by how wrinkled and boxy it looked when I wore it out.
For what I paid for two shirts, this was a very disappointing purchase. I would not recommend them.

Great Colors but not Permanent Press
I love the material, the fit, and the colors. Was surprised to see that it needs to be ironed.
