Classic & Versatile Sweater
I ordered this in Cranberry, size Large. For reference, I wear a size 12 in tops and L.L. Bean’s Large fits me perfectly (5’3”, 170 lbs). The merino wool is a great mid-weight—warm without being bulky—and the crewneck style is flattering and versatile. A timeless, high-quality sweater I’d happily buy again in another color.

Gorgeous, supple sweater
I bought it in pink and the color is so and gorgeous, the knit smooth and with a great drape. Such a good basic and, I can't believe I'm saying this, a nice change from cashmere. Wish it were available in navy blue and in oatmeal heather.

Itchy!
So happy to see LL Bean has added merino items and loved the look and fit of this sweater. It feels soft but unfortunately was noticeably itchy from the moment I tried it on (and after taking it right off). I'm sensitive to wool but can wear "superfine" merino items from other retailers. Disappointed for me but should be fine for those not sensitive to wool.
