Generational drift
It is not how many years waders last, it is how many days on the water. My last set of waders from LL Beans were the gray waders with the exceptionally well designed belt system- they went about 140 days on the water w/o major issues. I still hope this new set stand up as well, but these new waders feel lighter/weaker. Time will tell, but I'd rather have been able to get another pair like I had before
