NOT a petite size!
This sweatshirt makes me look like a shapeless, washed-out slug.
When I initially tried it on, my first thought was, "Oh, they've given me a Regular size by mistake" but, no, I checked and it was a Petite. Generally, with a sweatshirt like this, you want the hem falling just past your hipbones. Instead, the hem on this sat below my hips. It covered my behind. Which, would be excusable if this thing was cut to be more flattering but no. The thing is shaped like a tube. A tube which now, unflatteringly, encases my bottom and clings to my lower abdomen.
Add to that, the abysmal colour - washed out and lacklustre. Nothing AT ALL like the image on the website.
The whole thing is so ill-fittingly shaped and of such mundane appearance that it would make the most exquisite and dazzling among us, appear as mere garden-variety slugs. I am neither exquisite nor dazzling, just a 5"3" woman trying to look merely cute in a casual outfit so I whipped this off of me as soon as I caught a glimpse of myself in my mirror and it's on its way back to LL Bean now and good riddance. Gah!

Love this Waffle Sweater!
I purchased the orange waffle sweater and love it! It is heavier/thicker than your typical waffle top. It's well made and the cuffs and bottom hem are wider and will give much more life to this sweater!

Just ok
Just ok. It is a thick material. I wish I had read the care details before ordering it as it is supposed to be line dried which is not preferable. The colors are more muted than the images on the web. It’s a little on the larger side, slightly boxy and not form fitting.

Sunwashed Effect Made it Look Worn Out
I love waffle knits, and bought this because it’s heavier and had a different neckline. The fit was perfect but the sunwashing effect made the sweater look like it was at the end of its life. Plus the chemicals used to create the effect put an even more faded strip down the entire length of one of the sleeves. I bought the burnt orange color.

Sizing
Previously purchased PS which was too large, exchanged for PXS and sleeves were still too long.
I kept anyway, maybe they will shrink when washed.
