Beautiful Sweater (positive washing experience)
As others have stated this is a beautiful sweater in a classic style with a generous fit. Since the sweater was a quite big on me, I decided to wash it before wearing -- and I am posting here to share how it went. I placed the sweater in a mesh laundry bag and washed it on warm with like colored items on the normal regular setting. I placed it in the dryer on low with a fleece throw, checking frequently for dryness. When it was just a bit damp, I removed the sweater and hung to air dry. I can report this worked beautifully for me. No shrinking, no color run (navy), original shape retained perfectly. I was so pleased with the easy care aspect that I ordered a second sweater one size smaller.

Shame on LLBean!
The sweater is lovely, a good weight and very soft, A little loose/baggy, but comfortably so. I would have enjoyed wearing it. However, the "Stone" color is a dull, muddy beige, not light and bright as depicted. Worse, the online price for this sweater is $89.95, although the price tag attached to it says $79 and the garment tags list this as a fall/winter 25 item. I purchased it during the "15% off sweaters" sale, bringing the cost to about $76. So LLBean marked up a $79 sweater by nearly 15% on its website and then "discounted" it 15% during a "sale." Shameful.

Great cardigan
Lovely sweater, soft and comfortable but looks put together. I wore it over a plaid button down for a nice fall look. It’s shaped feminine enough and not boxy which I appreciate. I am tall with long arms and the sleeves are a good length. I also appreciate that it isn’t cropped.

Perfect Sweater
I love everything about this sweater and was so excited to get it. The fit is perfect. The ribbing and extra stitch detail really help it to hold its shape. It's heavier and denser and really nice for the transition of seasons and an extra layer. I'm not crazy about polyester, but this is really nice material. I am 5'8 and 140 lbs, got it in size small and find the fit perfect in every way. I got it in the light brown and will definitely be getting it in more colors.

Great sweater
I wore this sweater during a ten day trip to Norway and Denmark in August. It was the perfect layer to keep the chill out and when not wearing it, it was not cumbersome to carry.

New favourite cardigan!
New favourite cardigan! Not too light, not too bulky and feels great on. I’ve worn it both open and buttoned up and have gotten compliments each way. Would definitely recommend!
