I wear large shirts from LLBean and I ordered an X large jacket and it doesn’t have the same amount of room in the shoulders.

NOT a warm up jacket
I bought this because of the nice color, hoping it wold it would be similar to the wonderful warm up jackets. It is lighter and the fleece lining in the sleeves makes pulling it on over a flannel shirt difficult... It is an OK jacket for temperatures above about 45.
The reversible feature is kind of neat and works well, although I cannot imagine wanting to turn this nice-looking jacket into a cheap-looking fleece version.
I have received complements on the color.

I love this jacket!
I bought a very similar LL Bean jacket over 25 years ago, and it is still going strong. So glad to have found it this year in the LL catalog. It is much warmer than they say. Good down to the mid 30s. Perfect for New England November days. I always wear it with the fleece against my body, and the nylon side out. But it would look good the other way too.

Terrific jacket/Reversable wear is gold-plating.
I love this jacket! I keeps me warm on cool/cold fall days. I don't think I'll wear it in reverse, though. I like the soft-side against my neck when I've zipped it all the way up.

Perfect shoulder season jacket
Instantly my go-to. Fleece side in if I'm wearing a t-shirt and it's nice and cozy. Nylon side in if I'm wearing a flannel or something so the sleeves don't bunch up. I'm 5'10', 200lbs and the the Large is perfect. I'm mostly size Large in everything with an occasional Med or XL depending on brand.
