Handy light windbreaker. Yay for petite sizes!
LL Bean is about the only place to find outdoor clothing in petite sizes, so I tend to look here first for tops and jackets. Fortunately, this jacket is a success. I bought a size up, to allow room for a fleece underneath. I've now taken it on a windy and chilly (40-ish degrees) November hike, and it was great. Definitely broke the wind well, and with the fleece, I was toasty. It's so light and compact that it should be great for travel too. Seems well constructed, and I like the back venting. I did run water on it to see how it would stand up to rain, and while not waterproof,.it would provide protection in a light shower.

Just what I wanted and very good quality.
This is a perfect lightweight jacket(windbreaker).While it is lightweight as I would expect, the material is very good and appears strong. It has a lot of good pockets and the zippers work well. It is easy to store. The zipper pulls are not my style so I just removed them. I bought a small and it fits well.

Lightweight shell
Nice light shell, exactly as described. Sometimes you need a little coverup in warmer weather when there’s the possibility of a drizzle. Packs as light as a handful of Kleenex.

Great and useful jacket
This is hands down one of my favorite purchases so far. Folds up really well and easy to put the jacket away in its little pocket. Lightweight and perfect for mild weather. Already worn it in heavy rainfall (light rain turning heavy) for about 15minutes and water did not penetrate the material. I’m 5’3”, curvy, wear a size 12 pants and I ordered an XL. I would have been fine with the L but for traveling to mild winter areas I like to layer with a sweater or hoodie underneath so the larger size allows for that.

happy for petites, but silly words
Thank you for offering petite sizes. This way the sleeves fit, it's not too long, and I can wear a layer or two underneath. Wonderful how it crumples up small into the third pocket pouch - easy to toss into gym bag or tote. I use it as a pickleball windbreaker; if any amount of rain falls, we're out of there because court quickly gets slippery. Not sure yet whether the two zipless hand pockets will get caught on anything. Reflective bits are nice. But could do without the silly words "airshield" and front/back "LLBean" . Had a similar jacket in red but got yellow jacket sting while wearing it so bought navy! Will see if turkeys chase me. Surprised the back has a huge unsewn flap, which makes it alright for sport but not nice for a hike.

This jacket is the cheapest, most flimsy piece of garbage. The jacket would tear immediately upon getting it caught on something. The price is ridiculous. I just sent it back for a refund. I haven’t shopped LLBean in quite sometime but if this is the type of product LLBean is selling, I’ll shop somewhere else.

Great windbreaker for running
I really like this windbreaker which I got in the navy blue. It is very light, breathable, and keeps me dry. I wear it for running and for every day use.
