I bought these boots over two months ago and wear them every day. I am 64 yrs old and have worn hiking boots most of my life. These boots are definitely at the top for comfort. Going to get a second pair soon. Beautiful boots!!

Please bring back original women's Cresta hikers!
The photo is of the original boots. Cresta II is a completely different boot and poor in comparison. Uppers are a totally different fit and sloppy. Back is not angled down. Different drop (foot is flatter) and support is lacking. Strong odor from vinyl-looking "leather." Clunky and make my knees ache. I bought the original boots for 15+ years and wear them daily. Cresta II is not close to the same caliber. Please bring back the original boots!!

Painfully stiff
I bought these in 2018 for walking and working in the garden. Each year, I keep thinking they will get softer and become more comfortable and after a couple of times, I put them back on the shelf. Also, I don't know how LLB defines wide but these boots are NOT wide. Have even worn them in puddles thinking maybe that would soften them but not such luck. I would like to try something else but the boots I was interested in aren't offered in wide.

Good but becoming cheaply made.
I've been wearing crestas for probably 15 years. They have been a great go to hiker. True waterproof boot. I'm on my 4th pair probably. The sole is coming unglued after a short time. And are cracking to the point of hoke in the boat where the lowest grommet is. I regularly use leather conditioning on them and they just get worse and worse quality. I have one pair still that has never cracked or leaked that are 10 years old. When they were made in Italy. For the price I would hope they wouldn't fall apart ao quickly. And now that the warranty no longer exists you can't bring them back so you're left with a sole coming off after spending $250!!!

Comfort like no other
Just got these today and the moment I slipped my feet into them they felt like heaven on my feet. I had tried many other brands of hiking boots in a recent sporting goods store and nothing felt close to what these boots feel like. Looking forward to many hikes with them.

My favorite footwear
I'm not sure how many years I've had these boots but it's at least several. They look as good as the day I bought them. These hikers are durable and comfortable and they keep my ankles supported and my feet dry. I can (and do) walk all day long in these boots on any footing.

Always out of stock!!!!!
Been trying to replace my 25 year-old pair of these for OVER A DECADE now but W6.5D are always OUT OF STOCk!! I check the status dozens of times of year. Soooo disappointing. Also quite ridiculous.

Please bring back the Cresta Hiker!!
I have been trying to purchase a second pair of Cresta hikers for the past several months. But, they have been unavailable in every size for the regular width. This is the first time in my life that I wish I had wide feet....then I could order them in the wide size. I have been wearing my Crestas for about 15 years for hiking, backpacking, and yard work. So comfy and sturdy! Like other reviewers have mentioned, they don't need much time to break in. They are just starting to separate at the seam, so I wanted to get a new pair. I hope these boots have not been discontinued. L.L Bean, please bring them back!!!
