Absolute best boot for my foot and outdoor use.
I bought my first pair of these boots 6 years ago. I hike and snow shoe in these boots at least 50 days per year. The sole is almost worn smooth, but probably has another 6 - 12 months left on it. These are the only boots I know of that are actually wide (EE). Other boots say they are wide, but they are not. My feet are 4E in width. Also, the last couple of winters I have needed to use SnowSeal on the leather to maintain the waterproof protection. If you have wide feet, these boots will not let you down. I have done a lot of shopping for boots at big name stores and none, NONE, of their boots even come close to fitting my foot. I blew out the sides of my "wide" Keens in less than a year. After years of abuse
my boots are still going strong. The sole just started to separate from the leather. But the tread is worn out and there is NO cushion left down there at all. I'm looking into finding a cobbler around here to work on them, or buy new ones. They have handled countless hikes and camping trips over the past few years and really have been great boots.

The soles are glued on and do not last. My uppers looked new but the soles fell of.
