So-so, not great
These boots have laces that are too short. They're around tend to come apart, unless double knotted.
On at least two previous occasions, I ordered the next level down, also a waterproof hiking boot. and the last pair came with longer laces allowing me to double knot,
These fit comfortably enough, but I need all of the double E width, and had to order longer laces.

Comfortable Right out of the box
I’ve been a huge fan of llbean for years and for the past 5 years have been purchasing the Trail Model 4 hiking boots as my work shoe. As comfortable as the Model 4 is, the New Trail Model X is even more comfortable! 10+ hours a day on your feet, you need a good comfortable pair of boots and these definitely satisfy that requirement! As I write this review, I already have another pair in my cart to have them ready for non work wear! Thanks llbean for stepping up with the new Trail Model X, try and keep them in stock during the Fall Rush!
