Not the same
I bought the exact same pants a few years ago. These do not fit the same. Too long and too tight. Next size up was too big. I’ll be sending them back

Waist elastic does not have enough give
Pants fit fine everywhere except in the waist. The waist elastic is wide and doesn’t have much give, so isn’t as comfortable in the waist as I’d like. Won’t order again.

Tapered leg pants better for me
These are perfectly nice pants. But the tapered-leg pants looked much better on me, so I kept those and returned these. It's all a matter of personal preference and body type.
