Great Shirt but Problem with Collar
The shirt is now two years old and I am noticing that the back of the collar rolls up and I have to use a steam iron to make it lie flat.
I use regular wash and dry. Am I doing something wrong?

BRING BACK THE TRADITIONAL OXFORD!!
I’ve been an LL Bean devotee for 30+ yrs, every year I buy 3-4 new traditional Oxford cloth shirts, and this is nothing like it. Gone is the trusted heavy duty cotton, and all we’re left with is this disappointing, thin, lightweight version that is of no comparison. I’m an extremely disappointed customer, beginning to lose faith in the brand as it seems the once trusted quality is in steady decline.

What happened to the French blue pinstrip?
Can I still order the LL Bean French blue punstrip oxford traditional button down shirt from somewhere? This has been a staple part of my wardrobe for years. Have you discountinued it? If so please resonsider this decision.

The fabric is lighter
The shirt fits well and looks good right out of the drier, like all of the other Oxford shirts I have purchased from L.L.Bean in the past. The fabric of this shirt is lighter, however, than those other shirts. I haven't determined yet if that is a plus or a minus, but I do enjoy wearing the shirt.

Not for big/tall sizes
Big/tall sizes will be disappointed in the fit. I am unable to wear these doe to them being too small.

So disappointed traditional oxford shirts gone
For over 30 years I have relied on the traditional oxford button downs from LL Beans. They were absolutely the best, heavy fabric, great fit, last forever, many colors available. Now gone!! I have tried the pinpoint and do not like it, too lightweight, too expensive and few colors. Always trusted LL Beans as a go to place for the classic well made products it offered for years and years..,,,that is disappearing quickly and LL Beans lost another customer here

Decline in quality
I’ve been buying these shirts for years and always loved the high quality material for the value. These new shirts are a lot thinner and don’t feel anywhere near as sturdy. I’ve also noticed that LL Bean has stopped selling a wider variety of solid colored shirt. It’s down to basic white, blue, and light blue. Where did all the other options go? Disappointed, to say the least.

A dress shirt that checks all the boxes!
This is the perfect dress shirt! The traditional fit makes it very comfortable for my husband to wear with his sport coat. It washes beautifully and barely needs the touch of an iron. Worth the price!
