Nice, but not the same as past years.
I've had and lost this hat at least three separate times over the years. I've treasured my last one and purchased an additional one as a gift for a colleague who was complimenting mine. It's still a lovely and warm hat but the weave pattern of the marl is much larger. I prefer the smaller weave of my past ones but the recipient was happy with the gift.

Warm as he++!
This hat has a built-in headband which keeps your ears so warm! So much denser than the other stuff out there. Very well made, you won't be sorry.

Ragg wool (gray/oatmeal) $26. Perfect, until I lose them. I Had trouble finding it in catalog. Ordered a different one that was inferior. Finally I found the correct ones. They are excellent.

Great hat!

Terrible.
This is not the same hat from a few years ago. That hat was great. This new version is huge, looks foolish, and will not fit unless our head is the size of a bowling ball.

Decreased quality… with increased price…
I have one of these rag-wool hats that was purchased a few years ago. The current version is more expensive, but has thinner and less dense wool… A too-familiar story of vendor trying to maintain profit in inflationary times by boosting price while cutting quality…This is no longer the excellent product it once was… Not recommended…
