Terrible.
This is not the same hat from a few years ago. That hat was great. This new version is huge, looks foolish, and will not fit unless our head is the size of a bowling ball.

Decreased quality… with increased price…
I have one of these rag-wool hats that was purchased a few years ago. The current version is more expensive, but has thinner and less dense wool… A too-familiar story of vendor trying to maintain profit in inflationary times by boosting price while cutting quality…This is no longer the excellent product it once was… Not recommended…

All wool is warm
Wool keep's me warm. I use the hat even indoors as a warm head warms my body. (As an 83 year old I need more warmth!) this is my second or third LL Bean wool cap. It stuffs into smaller spots. No brim. I wouldn’t go through a cold season without this cap!
