Recurring Quality Issues make it hard to shop
This is the stuff that drives me nuts. I have bought this shirt before, liked the fit and the style very much. The cotton is solid quality, and washes well. So I bought another. As you can see in my picture, the black top is the one I already had. The aqua top is the new one. Same size, same style. Totally different fit. I truly wish Bean would work on its quality control, because it feels like a gamble every time we buy something - even something we have purchased many times before. I am a decades-long Bean shopper, and as others have noted, the quality issues have occurred in more recent years. I also want to comment on the fact that “petite” used to mean the entire garment was proportionally sized down. Now it just seems to mean shorter arms (sometimes), but the body is still too wide. In my second picture, the aqua top is the regular xs and the blue is the petite small. The petite is actually larger, with no significant difference in the length or sleeves. I actually find a slimmer fit going with XS regular than petite.

Ease of ordering, and great quality.
Any products that I have bought from L.L. Bean I have always been a good quality. The T-shirts I recently bought will last me a long time just like any that I’ve bought previously. Thanks for the quality of your product and good service.

3 colors in small but all different sizes
I prefer 100% cotton, 3/4 sleeve and v-necks. These all fit the bill and came in some nice colors. The fabric is a nice weight, the cut is nice but they were all a different size with the Alpine Blue being the smallest of the small size. I washed and dried the other 2 according to the directions but they did shrink in the length and in the sleeves. They are still wearable but I won't order any more. Because the Alpine Blue was tight, I held it out and will return it. I have many all cotton t-shirts and after repeated washings, they held their size and shape.
