Great, but not as great as earlier versions
This is my second pair of these slippers from LL Bean. I’m almost embarrassed to say how long I had my first pair. I actually wore them out at the bottom - but from the outside.
My latest pair is a couple years old already. That is far from new, but I honestly don’t spend a whole lot of time wearing them, and never when running a marathon! The inside shearling lining started wearing out much faster than my first pair, exposing the leather. With the leather exposed, it induces sweating instead of pure comfort. I was about to toss them, but found a very affordable fleece insert from another retailer that gave them new life!
As you can see in the image, the outside still looks like new.
I still recommend them, but they are just not as good as the previous version of the “same” item.

Very nice looking slippers but the slippery leather bottoms need to be scuffed up or they are a slipping hazard. These soles aren’t just slippery, they are thin. My son wore his inside the house on chilly Southern California mornings and still wore a hole through the bottom. To my disappointment, he didn’t tell me in time to have them replaced. He’d probably like another pair but I think he should find something more durable. If they had lasted longer, I would have rated them 5 stars because they do look nice and held up well but for the soles.

Great, consider the sizing when ordering
Very good quality, I had no issues with the smooth leather bottoms. Although most of my house is hard wood floors. Might be an issue on carpet. But I think easy enough to get around that, by scuffing the bottoms. I ordered one size up from my normal shoe size, and they are snug. I debated sending them back for a different size, but decided they should stretch being real leather. Not uncomfortably snug, but was surprised being as I did order a size up. So consider that when deciding to order. My true shoe size would definitely been too small.
