An instant favorite
Very comfortable! It's soft and warm, and I have worn this sweater often since I got it. Sometimes the collar stands up and pokes my neck a bit, but usually it sits nicely open. I did notice that it's starting to pill already after about a month, which surprises me...but like I said, it's so warm and soft, and fits so well (I am 6'1" 190 lbs.), that I am loving it.

Workhorse of a Sweater
Quite warm when layered with a windproof shell, but amazingly breathable when worn alone. One of those garments that seems to be perfect over a wide range of temperatures. The fleece lined collar is very comfortable on the neck. I use mine quite a bit when upland bird hunting in cold weather, but it is also the first one I reach for if I know I'll be sitting in cold weather. In spite of heavy use, it has shown little pilling. Highly recommended!

Stylish and warm
This sweater is warm and looks good too. It is kind of itchy, so my husband recommends wearing a tee shirt under the sweater to keep you comfortable.

Best Price/Value Sweater
I knew this sweater was going to be great after seeing two guys from the Alone show wear it. Cade and Alan from season 10. I’ve put mine through the wringer the last year and a half on tons of extended hiking, fishing, and camping trips. Surprisingly, it has not pilled very much which usually lower priced wool sweaters tend to suffer from. Most of the damage I have on mine is from snags bushwhacking. If you wash it properly, like instructed on the tag, it won’t shrink. Cold hand wash in a basin with a little bit of proper detergent like Eucalan and you’re good to go. I have other high quality sweaters from Inis Meain, GRP, and Blue Mogganer and this one holds its weight. I’ll pick up another one when they restock in sizing.

Overall nice sweater, but it pills a lot
This is a comfortable and warm sweater. But after just a few months, it has started pilling more that any sweater I have ever owned including other wool sweaters from LLBean. This means the sweater somehow already looks like it is about 10 years old, even after I use a comb designed for removing pills from the fabric.

Shrinking Sweater
It was a very nice sweater and fit well, until the first hand-wash, then it shrunk by about 15%. The XL sweater became a large sweater and now it is too small. I'm more than a little disappointed....
