Impossible to assembleThe hardware that comes with the push handle does not fit at all. It comes with 4 J bolts to fasten the handle to the sled. The j bolts are too short and don’t extend past the wood frame so you can’t thread the fastener on to secure it. Went to the hardware store to see if they had longer ones and turns out these bolts are used for securing rebar in concrete. Such a weird choice to use in a sled assembly. Finally got it assembled using 4 clothesline hook bolts - but wasn’t expecting to have to MacGyver a sled handle that cost $80.

Not adjustable, but sturdyPurchased this as a gift for my daughter's family. It is very sturdy, but it has somewhat low height and not at all adjustable.

Quality, fun and love the dexterity!LL Bean made my purchase a wish come true. I ordered the sled on the web and was going to have it sent to a PO Box for my grandchildren. LLBean called me personally to let me know they could not do that but would be happy to send it to another address (which I provided). They were so nice and went out of their way to make sure the sled would arrive in time for Christmas! It did!
My grandchildren are loving it!! and LLBean has gotten loyal customer. Thank you for making quality merchandise, and having excellent customer service! Happy 2013!

BrokeI received a sled that came with this handle, and it snapped the second time I was out in the snow. I was lucky that I did not have a child sitting in the back seat at the time because I would have fallen right on them. Loved the sled though and steers better without this wooden handle anyways.
