not a bad jacket but some things to consider
First off, this is a nice jacket. I do not feel the wind when outside. It is extremely thin and lightweight. I was still warm inside. I like how the sleeves are designed so they do not allow the wind and cold to go upside the jacket as an entry point. What I dislike about the jacket is there is no real useful inside pocket. The pocket there looks like its meant to hold some pens? Maybe LLBean is thinking for your lipstick or mascara? I do not find the inside pocket handy. The inside pocket is long and thin, so if I wanted to store keys there, not going to be useful. Too small for a small cell phone even. Not wide enough to put other items inside. I would have also preferred an inside breast pocket. I still have a Cabela's goosedown jacket I bought back in 2008. That is still one of the best designed jackets I've ever owned. The other thing I am disliking about this jacket is placement of the side pockets. They are high placed. Which is odd. The photo's don't suggest this placement. It might be that mine is a manufacturing error or the outside pockets are meant to be placed in that position. It's not exactly a deal breaker but I'd encourage going into the store to try on the jacket and not change online ordering for this one if you can avoid it. I bought mine in a large regular. If I didn't know better I'd think it was a large petite. I might check out the measurements again in case this is a large petite and maybe mislabeled as large regular.

Very nice jscket
This jacket looks really nice on. I think it runs a little large, which is ok since you’ll need a sweater or sweatshirt under it as it is not as warm as I hoped. I wore it to walk in sunny 30° weather and not quite warm enough. It’s fine if temps are higher.

Quality changed. Not as cozy.
I bought this to replace my favorite LL Bean Ultra Warm coat that I've had for several years. It's the same item number, so I figured it would basically be the same coat. It's close but not exact. The new one fits the same but I noticed a couple differences right away. The velcro neck opening is a little wider than my old one and it sticks out. It is too big to velcro tightly on my neck. The fur trim is also different. I don't wear the fur anyway, but the older version had a nicer feeling. The bigger surprise is the insulation. My old coat specifically said "goose down" while the new one just says "down". Same 80% down fill, but it's not clear what kind of down they're using now. My older one definitely felt more premium. Overall it's probably still a warm coat but I did notice the quality changed. I may have went with another brand if I had looked closer. It's not 5 star anymore.

Beautiful Color Warm Jacket
The Ultrawarm Hooded Jacket is a wonder to which to be marveled. It is super cozy and is the most beautiful color I have ever had in a jacket. I will definitely enjoy it during the winter season. This is a must to have!

Hood
Disappointed that the hood/fur comes so far forward that it covers my eyes and I can’t see. I got rid of my last coat because of this and thought this one was better. It’s warm, but I hate the hood!

Disappoints the quality!☹️
I have looked at this jacket for years on the website. I finally ordered it. I am sorry to say, it was a total disappointment. The 650 down was not fluffy enough for my liking. I knew the fur around the hood was faux, but it was really bad. It was matted!! I returned the jacket the same day it was delivered.
