Bought month ago, and it hasn't even been very cold, but this coat is NOT warm. I do love the length of it, tho.

GREAT COAT!
Bought the coat in both medium and large and, once I tried it on with a bulky sweater and jeans, decided to keep the large. I typically wear a size 10. The coat is definitely a great long length, and the length does not hinder walking up or down stairs, although I have to pay attention when I get into the car and ensure it’s not stuck in the door! My one and only complaint is the quality of the faux fur on the hood…that issue was resolved by visiting my local furrier and having it replaced with genuine black fox that looks incredible on the coat….something I know many people will disagree with…but it elevates the coat to a whole new level. It’s beautiful and cozy :) LOVE THIS COAT!

Great jacket!
Love this coat - I bought this one and one from LE… I returned the other one bc I liked the features on this one better. I like that the zipper doesn’t go the whole way down, so it’s easier to zip up; I like the fact that it has snaps over the zipper so you can just close it quickly if you need to. The interior pockets are nice too. The only thinks I liked about the other jacket more (maybe you can change or add these LLBean lol) are: felt linking around the collar; deeper pockets, and the sleeves were slightly longer - I like being able to have longer sleeves so that they don’t get caught on my watch- but I also liked that the LLBEAN jacket had the water resistant down. Keeps me totally warm and absolutely love it!

Disappointing Replacement
This coat was purchased to replace a fifteen year old version of the same coat. The new coat is not nearly as warm as the old one. I was cold in 20 degree weather with no wind. Some of the quilted squares have little down. I was very disappointed in the quality. It does not meet the standards expected of LL Bean products.

Warmth without bulk
This coat is very warm without being bulky. I ordered my normal LL Bean size (medium) and have plenty of room for a thick sweater or layers underneath. The length goes to a couple inches above my ankles. Having the additional length makes all the difference I hoped it would! I love that the fur is easily removable if the weather is a little wet. It’s well made and I’m sure I’ll be using it for years to come!

Super comfortable
Long warm and comfortable. Normally, I will wear S But I choose extra small and it’s perfect. The only thing I don’t like is the fair. But you can zip it out

Warm and very long coat
Very good coat for long walks in cold weather. Light and warm. Only problem is it’s about 4 inches too long, but I haven’t tripped on it yet so I’m keeping it. I’m 5’1 ½” and petite pants are too long too.
