Everything I wanted
I bought this midwinter and am so pleased with it. The reddish brown color is so pretty with the faux fur around the hood. And it’s very warm, rated the highest in warmth, but lightweight at the same time. And I love the reverse zipper at the bottom which allows me to get to the house keys in my jeans pocket.

Not warm enough for MN winter
I wanted to like this coat. It's a good length. It's lightweight. The color was as expected. I agree with other reviews complaining about the weird Velcro closure at the neck and the concerns about the fabric not seeming sturdy for all the snapping and unsnapping. I might have gotten past those things, but the one time I wore the coat it was 25 degrees out with a light wind and my arms got cold within 10 minutes. For the price I paid ($240) I expected better. I returned this coat.

Ultra warm coat

poor quality.
Poor quality. The filling was minimal or missing. The price tag on the coat was $249...Poor less than what I was charged. I returned it. I have a coat just like it, bought a few years ago. I love it. This coat is not at all like the previous one. I choose L.L.Bean when I want great quality. I must rethink that, now.

Absolutely my favorite winter coat!
I am a FLA girl and I was headed to Wisconsin in the middle of January. Oh my goodness! It was -29° the day after we arrived. This coat was an absolute lifesaver. It kept me very comfortable and warm throughout the almost 3 weeks I was there! In fact, I have already recommended this coat to friends who are moving north! I love this coat. Not too heavy and not too light. Nice size front pockets. I am 100% satisfied with this coat!
