Not warm and poorly made
This is not a warm coat. It is a thin, light puffer coat that is fine for milder climates, but nothing below -10 Celsius or windy. I had it for less than a month, wore it only to ride the subway to and from work, and the down feathers started to poke out after a month. I returned it, and the return process was very easy which is why this gets an extra star.

Disappointment - never wash this!! You’ll be sorry
Loved this coat, until I had to WASH it. Followed instructions, it was ruined, the inner filling became discolored and it smelled terrible!!! Never wash this because you will be flushing $270 down the drain!! I had to throw the coat in the trash - so upset!!

Lifelong Coat
It occurred to me recently that I have had this coat for over 10 years now, so I had to write a review! I bought this coat in 2015, and it is still my main winter coat. It has held up so well, even while being washed every year. I love that this style coat and color (Spruce) is timeless and still being sold over 10 years later.

Not water resistant at all
This coat is not water resistant at all. It absorbs the water and soaks through. Not sure how that makes it water resistant.

Women’s Ultrawarm coat
I needed a new coat. The coat is warm, but did not keep me as warm as I expected during the polar vortex storm that pushed through. The polar vortex was colder winter weather than we usually get in the DC area. I was able to wear a polar fleece jacket under the coat so I was ok.
