For nearly 90 years, we've been making our authentic Scotch Plaid flannel shirts the way we always have: better than everyone else's. Our exclusive flannel fabric is meticulously woven with longer-staple cotton, which means the individual cotton fibers are about one-quarter inch longer than short-staple fibers, making a huge difference in fabric strength and quality. Then, it's meticulously brushed eight times on each side and given a "touch test" by a master weaver to declare it soft enough.

Buttons too thin
It is a well made shirt. I just wish the buttons didnt need to be so thin making the button holes needing to be slightly small. It makes it very difficult for those of us who are elderly to button the shirt.

Comfy and well made - more orange and muted
Very comfortable and well made. My husband really likes this shirt. Just a not that this is definitely more a burnt orange tone than red, but we like it so it’s a keeper. Wish LL Bean would bring back the traditional red plaid as an option.
