Best quality fireplace gloves out there
I have been looking for quality long arm gloves for a year and finally found these on LL Bean. The length is great as it covers the full forearm and no chance of burns. They are well insulated and cannot feel the heat through them, Only issue would be it's 1 size and can be a large for smaller hands. Highly recommend them, worth the price as they should last for many years

Used every day to stoke an outdoor wood boiler
I use these gloves every day to stoke an outdoor wood boiler that heats my house. They protect my hands from rough firewood as well as from hot coals. Only disappointment: the previous iteration of these gloves were lined in a really nice plaid material. .

Great for Everyday Use
These gloves were replacements for another brand that wore through at one of the thumbs. Although I was concerned at first about their length and suitability for everyday use, they have proven to be great. Lots of padding in the fingers doesn't interfere with being able to grip wood or handles on the fireplace. They also fit my smaller hands as well as my husbands' larger ones. Thanks, LL Bean!

Good cuff length and heat protection.
The gloves fit well, seem well made and certainly work. While placing logs in my wood burning stove my fingers stays reasonable cool for as long as I needed to be inside the firebox. The long length of the cuffs are great and the main reason these gloves were purchased. With my previous gloves I would occasionally burn my forearm on the door frame of the stove. Not with these, my forearms are safely covered.
