Women's plus size turtleneck
Pima material is wonderful and easy care. I wish sizing was a bit better. LLB is a little short on sizing for plus size. Sleeves should be inch or two longer as should width. Turtleneck is okay but not a size I would always wear.

In 1954, when I was 12, there was an article in LOOK Magazine about the Beatniks in New York. They were wearing black, turtleneck sweaters. I thought they looked so good, I wanted to look like that, too. Still do. This great cotton top fits the bill.

Weird fit but good quality
I ordered S - petite. It is a "huge box" fit. I compared to previous LL Bean cotton turtleneck and it is 2" wider and 2" shorter. Sleeves are 1' too short. It is designed for very chunky short waisted person... why was this sizing changed? I cannot tuck in and tons of spare material. on the side. Sleeves are also very short - 2 " skin gap when I stretch arm. I have to wear it under hoodie but the quality is good.

I have worn LLBean turtlenecks for years. I recently bought some new turtlenecks.. I was dismayed because the new turtlenecks do not have the heft or the warmth of the old. Have you changed the supplier?

Fool me year after year
This is the first year I have NOT purchased one after ca.10 years because THEY SHRINK A LOT. 4 inches in overall length and sleeve length after just a few warm/cool washings and hang to dry.

Enh. Neck is too short to be is any substance when folded over, and unfolded it lacks the fortitude to stay up. It slides down and looks like a mistake. Perhaps another model (or Men’s?!) better.

Fantastic fabric, not too shoddy. Most of the knitted shirts i see in stores are so thin that they offer little in the way of warmth. Turtlenecks used to be made of sturdy stuff. This isn't quite as thick as turtlenecks i bought 20 years ago, but it's better than any others i've found.
