Poor substitute for Saturday Tee
The Saturday Tee was a good quality, well designed product that I purchased for decades. I usually bought at least four of those a year. Unfortunately, Bean has made the poor decision of discontinuing that tee shirt. It was suggested that this cotton tee would be a substitute. Not. The binding on the crewneck is thin and cheap. The sleeves are skimpy on material, as is the body of the shirt. Overall, it’s a much cheaper material. The Saturday Tee always fit me well in a size medium. This medium- size substitute tee shirt is tight everywhere. A larger size will just make it way too long and it won’t resolve the problem with the cheap cut. Conclusion: Bean needs to bring back the Saturday Tee or risk losing a lot of tee shirt sales from me and many other customers who loved the Saturday Tee.

Beautiful, Quality Wardrobe Basic
I reviewed this tee shirt already in another color, so this review will be similar. I love LLBean t-shirts given their fit, colors, and durability. I'm a retired person on a budget, and with a little care, these t-shirts last a very long time. I change their look by changing jewelry or sweaters (depending on the season). I purchase more than one this time, and I bought either XS Reg or S Pet, depending on availability. Ideally I am S Pet, but if I want something, I'll go with the XS Reg.
