I LOVE Bean, but this was an epic fail
As a 3rd generation Bean shopper this was the worst piece of clothing I have ever purchased from Bean. I bought two different colors and both had the same issues. 1) Stench. They came out of the bag smelling like burned chemical plastic. 2) I am petite height, but got the regular fit because I like shirts to hang closer to my hips rather than waistline, but these have a super short torso. When I lift my arms the shirt is well above waistline of Beans perfect fit pants. 3) This is not your typical cotton that I have got from other Bean turtlenecks of years past. These shirts have a glossy, slickness that feels like satin. The stench came out with the first wash and vinegar rinse and I gave them to Goodwill.

Soft hand, lovely quality that holds up over time!
This is a repeat order with a different color after a few years owning two others. These fit well, retain their shape, launder beautifully with a soft hand and nice medium weight that moves nicely through the seasons. Very happy with the purchases!
