Favorite shirt
I love these mockturtlencks in pima cotton. Even though I am only 5 feet tall, I get the regular rather than the petite due to shrinkage.

Beware of shrinkage
After one washing according to directions (cold water and dry on low) these shirts shrank by 1.5 inches in the sleeves and body length. Disappointing.

great cotton, a bit short
The fabric is very soft. The neck doesn't fit as snugly as I would like. Sleeves and body barely long enough, hope they don't shrink. I didn't see a tall option.

Disappointing item with some strengths
I'm wearing your white mock turtle pima tee right now. It's soft and smooth. I invested in a white mock turtle pima tee from a competitor of llbean, too. Wanted to compare. Keeping both. Your white has a little cream color in it. But nice.Your sleeves are set in very badly. This has been true of most of your pima tees that I bought in 2025. Speaking as an old home sewer, I'd have to say that either the fabric cutter or the sewer did a rotten job. Likely both did. You really need to oversee both of those things better!!!! The mock turtle is a fun change from crew neck; pleasant for cold weather. I have kept - and I use - the several poorly constructed tees and they're okay for under jackets (from your competitor, in recent months) but I flinch when I see them in the mirror and note again the poor work, bubbles, and poor lines. Please get your act together, eh? I'll add a positive: your competitor added cuffs, making the tee more sporty. Your cuffless version is dressier.

Best mock-T ever
What a great find! The quality of the LLBean mock-T neck is comparable, and it comes in a wide variety of colors. The sizing is a bit large, but less likely to shrink for it.

My favorite mock
This model was my favorite mock neck last year. When first received, it looked boxy. I read the reviews and realized it shrank some. I could wear a medium but like large as loose is my style.
After washing, the shirt fits perfectly and is so comfortable. The color is outstanding, a deep blue

a little skimpier than expected from the pima
I started buying these shirts 20 or more years ago. based on this purchase it seems like over time the fabric has become less luxurious, slightly less thick and glossy. it's noticeable in floppiness of the mock tee collar. shirt has no elastic cuffs as an earlier iteration of this model did. petite is also quite a bit shorter in the body than the regular if that is a consideration. and the color is less purple and more burgundy than picture indicated
