My son’s favorite Christmas present!
Bought for my 10 year old son for Christmas as Kevin McAllister is his favorite movie character ever and said he wanted a house robe. My son is 4’7” tall and the size 18 fits him perfectly. He’s barely taken it off since Christmas. It’s very warm and he’s worn it outside as a coat too. It’s well made as I’ve come to expect from LL Bean, very thick and soft as well.

Sadly Disappointed
Robe runs large. The belt is longer than I believe it should be and was not sewn securely. It was split approximately 12 inches along the seam. I’m a long term supporter of Bean, however this is the second item I’ve ordered in the past 60 days that had quality issues.

Grandson loves it second time around, too
Grandson loves it -- again. Bought him one a few years ago, which he sleeps in and has now outgrown. Bought the same thing, also monogrammed, this year at his request and he's thrilled. Soft and comfy. Lasts through many washes.

Warm knees
I gave this to my 12 year old grandson for his birthday as his old robe was too short and worn out ( not purchased at LLBean ). He loves it ! My daughter said he wears it every night. I myself was disappointed in the thin fabric as it is not as thick and snuggly as his old robe and they both noted that as well. It would be perfect if it was thicker. On the plus side, it is a good long length which covers cold knees and the belt is attached and easy to tie.
