Introduced as Bean's Ice Carrier way back in 1944, the Boat and Tote was billed as a bag made of builders' canvas for hauling ice "from car to ice chest." Today you can spot our iconic tote doing heavy lifting everywhere - from the grocery store to the beach, to the library and commuter train. Tested to hold up to 500 pounds, it'll carry more than you can carry. We promise.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Robust enough to hold the weightiest works! Great size for carrying books on a long road trip. Enough room for several evenings reading. Build quality is superb, and should last long enough to become a 3rd generation heirloom!

Rated 2 de 5 de par Quality has gone down :( Even though I have bought multiple boat and totes within the last year, the quality of this one is noticeably cheaper. I’m glad I have all the ones I previously purchased because with the quality of this one I won’t be repurchasing. It’s flimsier, the fabric is thinner and I doubt it will stand up as well. I’m rough on my bags because I use them frequently. Bummed I can’t recommend these to friends anymore - especially with the price. The blue color is beautiful though! Just wish the quality matched it like they previously did. Debating if it’s worth the hassle of returning or not

Rated 5 de 5 de par My 4th Boat and Tote bag!! This is my fourth Boat and Tote bag! I have a small that I use for knitting, I have a medium that I use to carry all my things for work & a large to store all my knitting yarn & accessories ..this time I got the extra large to carry my laundry & anything else that needs to be distributed in the house! So many good features but my absolute favorite is the upright standing handles!! I’ll be buying more, I’m sure. Fill it up with all kinds of goodies and it makes a wonderful gift!
