Introduced as Bean's Ice Carrier way back in 1944, the Boat and Tote was billed as a bag made of builders' canvas for hauling ice "from car to ice chest." Today you can spot our iconic tote doing heavy lifting everywhere - from the grocery store to the beach, to the library and commuter train. Tested to hold up to 500 pounds, it'll carry more than you can carry. We promise.

Rated 3 de 5 de par Font too small, hard to read. I love Boat and Totes. I have 8 of them. I recently bought a small one as a gift and got it monogrammed with script. I was so sad when it arrived. The bag was the same wonderful quality as usual. However, the script was way too tiny for the small bag. I was very disappointed. I returned and I’m awaiting a replacement in a different font. I really hope it’s better. I have no idea what LL Bean is thinking using such a tiny, unreadable font. I still love the company and buy often, but this needs adjusted. Nobody wants a tiny, unreadable font on their bag.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Great to carry all sorts of things. I bought this bag because I was needing a heavy duty bag to carry my hair cutting supplies to clients on occasion and this is perfect. So high quality from the fabric to the stitching. Very glad I purchased this. I will be back for other bags in the future. Highly recommend.
