Very small pockets
Something was different. Then I realized the front pockets were smaller. I carry my wallet and phone in my front pockets. If I change wallets or phone I shouldn't have to be concerned about whether they will fit in my pocket. I will be returning the jeans. I have worn LL Bean Dbl L jeans for at least 10 years and have been satisfied until now.

The end of an era
This was my final attempt to buy an authentic, all cotton LLBean jean. My previous favorite, the 1912 jean, is no longer available in 100% cotton. The Double L, in limited fits, now seemed the only option. I tried both the standard and classic fit. Both of them have legs that are cut for an elephant and much longer than the listed size. LLBean has no other options, only stretch jeans. I never bought from LLBean because it sold the same product as everyone else. But now, if indeed I'm forced to wear stretch jeans, I can buy the same trash cheaper elsewhere.

Very High Waistband
The distance from crotch to waiseband is 12". My other pants/slacks have a 10" distance. That puts the waistband at my navel. Too high
