They shrink when washed making them shorter.
I've been wearing the prima long sleeve crewnecks for decades. No issues. I had just gotten 2 new ones recently. After washing them, I was surprised....they shrank. They are much shorter. I'll hesitate ordering in the future. I hate questioning the quality of LLBean as far as my long time favorite prima cotton tops are concerned.

Decline in quality
I bought this t-shirt based on previous purchaes and counted on LL Bean's high standards. I could have found better prices on you-know-where (large online retailer...) The shirt is okay but inferior to earlier LL Bean t-shirts. The fabric feels thinner and the sleeves are tight (and I have slender arms). It pales in comparison with the fit and finish of the same shirt style and size from years ago. I will keep this shirt as it is "okay" but I am disappointed. I assume LL Bean tries to get the best product and yet this shirt is a notable decline in standards.

Pima Crewneck Long-Sleeve
This Pima Crewneck long sleeve shirt has very good quality, looks sleek and very comfortable. The reason I did not give 5-star is about the size. I normally wear size M but it seems a bit of tight. So I changed it to size L, but it seems a bit too loose. I have many L.L. Bean shirts and the size is not always consistent. Sometime size S fits me better, and sometime size M is okay. But this time I had to order size L but still not fit well.
