the only jeans are amazing
LLBean-Womans Double L Jeans ,Ultra High-Rise Comfort Waist Tappered Leg are the only jeans i buy they are perfect in every way out standing wear long lasting great fit and comfort i am only 4ft 11in petite and iam 200 lbs and size 18 the fit is perfect, just right. I only buy these jeans because of the out standing quility, the color doesnt fade after many washes, they are 100% cotton, the button and zipper are very strong and durable, but I am very upset because i have not been able to purchase these jeans for some time. These jeans were why i continued to shop at LL Bean because no other stores carried these jeans, I have purchased many other items from them but those jeans were the reason i continued to shop there, I am hopping they will continue to sale these jeans or they will lose a very happy customer.

Overall a great buy. Fits well, sturdy cotton denim with a high rise…just like the kind once found in any clothing store. Plus a comfort waist with stretch side panels. Just bought a second pair. More colors please.

Old Reliables
I have been happily wearing Double L Jeans for years. And they do last for years and years. I buy only natural fiber clothing and these are made of 100% cotton denim in a very durable weight. I particularly appreciate the care and expertise that goes into designing and sizing the jeans. I wear the regular classic fit most of the time, but for Minnesota winters, when I am often adding up to three layers of wool under the jeans, these relaxed fit jeans are great. They accommodate my added bulk around waist and hips but still look tidy -- not at all sloppy or oversized -- and allow me to move around freely and do the activities I want. As ever, the garment is very well made. Thank you, L.L.Bean, for being so reliable!

MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT
just bought - have an older pair that are wonderful. UNFORTUNATELY THE ELASTIC DESIGN HAS CHANGED - MULTIPLE STITCHING...NOT AS FLEXIBLE AS PREVIOUS STYLE.
WONDER WHY A DESIGN IS CHANGED WHEN IT WAS ORIGINALLY SO COMFORTABLE???
Am returning both pairs - have NO DESIRE to wear them!!

If you have a smaller waist...
These are the only jeans I have ever found that fit me without alterations. I am bereft that they are being discontinued.
I have tried other LLBean jeans that have similar descriptions, and though I like the legs in them, every single one is too large in the waist. I have a waist. It is smaller than my hips. Please reconsider.

Why discontinued!
I have been purchasing Double L jeans for YEARS. They are dependable, comfortable, presentable and easy to wear. I am so very disappointed and will have a difficult time finding anything close to them. And I need a new pair!

Discontinued??? WHY
I purchased these Jean a lot, they held up better than any Jean brands.. Now their discontinued.. I guess I won't be purchasing product from this company any more..

Double L cotton jeans have been the BEST jeans all around! Loved the fit and the back pockets were the right size/placement. These jeans should not be discontinued! Very sad to see this with the men's style still going strong.😢 LL Bean used to be the only place I went for jeans & dress pants...now those are becoming a thing of the past...very sad to see.
