Loud and stiff
I bought 3 comforters to refresh our beds and am so disappointed. The material is stiff and every time you move the material is loud and crinkly. I was hoping the material would soften after a few washings. Not soft at all! Do not recommend.

We have mixed reviews on this product. Love the color and warmth; however quite disappointed in the stiffness of the comforter (even after 5 washes since January) and that it is a pet fur magnetic. Didn't have these issues with our past comforters...

Outstanding comforter; good value; well made.
Frequent backwoods hiker, car camper, and 4-season traveler here. Purchased this after returning from a winter trip to the north of Scotland, where we routinely slept under very comfortable and very warm lighter-weight down comforters in various hotels and rentals. We have now been living with this comforter for three months in the Southern U.S., where our weather this season has been unhappily anomalously cold. With overnight lows in the upper teens and low 20s, and our sleep-time thermostat set at 65, this comforter has kept us very warm. It is generously proportioned, the fabric is quiet and soft, and it has an elegant, smooth finish (like a fine, high thread-count top sheet). It appears to be solidly constructed, but it's too soon to comment on durability. As a value, this is an outstanding comforter -- its weight is comparable to that of a well-constructed, HQ 40/45-degree car-camping sleeping bag. A cautionary note: Unless you are a cold sleeper, it may be overkill to use this comforter on top of a good-quality decorative comforter. At night we pull this comforter up over our reasonably-warm cotton decorative comforter, and within a couple of hours, my wife -- who is a warm sleeper -- pushes the down comforter away because things become a bit too toasty for her. Which is not a negative, the down comforter is just doing its job. But if you're already a warm sleeper, you might want to explore a lighter-weight, down-alternative option. Otherwise, this is a superb comforter. Recommended.
