Our heaviest-weight flannel. Made of thick chamois fabric that's warmer than ordinary flannel, it's a shirt, light jacket and essential layer all in one.
When our founder, Leon Leonwood Bean, developed this shirt more than 90 years ago, durability was the goal. Then as now, the 100% cotton shirt is brushed for exceptional softness and warmth. A Classic Comfy Shirt - Need Color Choices
I love this shirt and have had many over the years, keeping warm and comfy as the autumn days turn into winter, and even to spring. My only problem is the colors, hence a downgrade rating. This would be a 5 star plus shirt if more color chices were offered, maybe something a little a vibrant, instead of the same pallette they've had for years.

My second Bean Chamois shirt
My first Bean Chamois shirt is so marvelous that I had to get a second one in a different color. These shirts fit well, fiercely resist wrinkling, and give a nicely flattering look. They're so warm that they can take the place of a sweater or light jacket from fall through spring. I've had a couple of similarly named articles from different clothiers over the years, and they can't hold a candle to these from L L Bean

Excellent Chamois Tall Men's XL Long Sleeve Shirt
