When our founder, Leon Leonwood Bean, developed this shirt more than 90 years ago, durability was the goal. Then as now, the 100% cotton shirt is brushed for exceptional softness and warmth. Have the standard size dimensions changed?
I ordered a medium sized, rergular shirt. When I put it on for the first time it was immediately evident that the size was other than normal as the sleeves not only felt much longer but when measured and against my otther Chamois shirts are 1 1/2in. longer. Shoulder width is also 1 1/2in. greater.

Fourth one
This is my fourth Bean Chamois shirt, so yes I like them. My go to shirt from fall through early spring, it’s the thickest and warmest non-insulated shirt I have. Definitely a full, loose cut but not baggy looking, there’s a slimmer cut version too but I haven’t tried it. They get softer with each wash and last forever.

The tall was too long.
The medium tall was to replace the “same” shirt I wore frequently for a couple or three years. The new one was much too long—but the medium regular was perfect.

Terrible quality compared to the maroon shirt
I own this shirt in navy and my husband owns it in red. They are such good quality I bought it in maroon and gray. The maroon shirt matches the great quality of my navy and red but the gray one is AWFUL! It feels cheap and is pilling. I am sending it back.

I love these flannel shirts for men because they don't fit tight as the women's flannel shirts.The men's flannel shirts has more flannel material than the women's plus-size flannel shirts.
