Too bad
So LL Bean has made the decision to become just another online vendor of the same stuff everybody else sells. For instance, the move toward the more fashionable jeans favored by the youth market, such as jeans with stretchy material rather than the reliable old LL Bean all-cotton jeans. Like so many others, I have worn these jeans for decades, and I had no intention of ever buying anything else. Well, I’m going to look around and see if anything else is available in authentic cotton jeans. Maybe I can find something for people who are more interested in fit, durability, and comfort than the latest fashion.

I have purchased these for years. Why change now?
I have been buying Women's Double L Jeans with Ultra–High-Rise Relaxed Tapered Legs for years. These are my go-to jeans that fit my mature body and I like the cotton fabric and the elastic on the waist. It looks like I am not the only one that is upset you are discontinuing them. Too bad that you will lose all these faithful customers.

I am another who relies on these being the ONLY jeans I can find that fit me. As a woman farmer it is impossible to find women's jeans that fit and are comfortable, movable to work in. PLEASE DO NOT DISCONTINUE THESE JEANS!

These are the only jeans I can buy online, because they are the ONLY jeans that actually fit me! The waist fits, and the hips fit. Any pants with a lower waistline does NOT fit, as the waist gaps unappealingly. Using a belt only makes it look worse. PLEASE do not get rid of these jeans! I have been buying them from you for decades. We need more pants/ jeans with the higher waistline. (I know it’s not cool, but I’m too old to worry bout that. Do not abandon your older clientele. I’ve had many pairs of the chinos with the higher waist over the years also.)
