Size issues
Sizing has changed. Same size for years. The cut is now a size smaller. Can no longer order tall only medium tall.

Tight waist!
These might be great jeans, but, unfortunately they didn't work for me. I tried both a size 6 and a size 8. In both cases, the waist was too tight, and I DO have a waist! Love the fact medium-long is offered. I was very disappointed they didn't work out.

Tight waist, baggy thighs
I was excited to find 100% cotton jeans but unfortunately they will have to get returned. I can barely button them around my waist despite plenty of room in the thighs and seat. These are (in today's terms) very high waisted and the waist is small, especially in relation to the rest of the fit. I am 5'7" and 133lbs, and like most middle age women, carry some fat around my middle, but not that much :-) I bought a size 8 med tall. If I went up to a size 10 to fit my waist, I'm afraid the legs would be like clown pants. Plus, all my other pants (even from LL Bean) have either been size 6 or 8. In fact, the day I ordered them, I was wearing a pair of size 6 Lakewashed Chino Pants that fit great, and I ordered a pair of size 8 M/T Mountainside Pants which fit fine and I am keeping. Online ordering for pants is such an expensive gamble, one I can't afford to keep doing if I can't count on consistent sizing.

They fit
Fits well, not too tight! (Size 10–the size 8 was too small, although I still have two or 3 pair of 8s in the same style that fit. They are a bit inconsistent.)

The fit is so strange
I am trying to find another LL Bean jeans since the ones I like have been sold out for a long time. But these jeans are not it. The waist is so tight! And I have a small waist. I usually have jeans that fit me a little loosely around my waist. I have to hold my breath to close these. I also ordered one size larger after reading the reviews. That made the jeans huge everywhere else and very tight in my waist.

Love these jeans-- they are the only jeans I wear. They are shaped like a (my) women's body-- in at the waist, and relaxed at the hips. Please keep making these jeans exactly like this always!
