Good quality & fit
Completely happy with this shirt in every way. The blue color is very nice. Now, I hope after washing it a few times it doesn't shrink in length. I always wash in cold water and hang to dry after no-heat in dryer to remove wrinkles, but this hasn't worked for my other shirts. Seems to be a common complaint from others so I'm hoping LLBean has changed its fabric?? Time will tell.

Disappointing purchase
I bought this turtleneck because the version in Pima cotton was sold out. There is no comparison between the fabric of this and that of the Pima cotton. This was no where near as soft. It has proven to be very wrinkled after washing and drying and I would only consider wearing it under a sweater where most of it doesn’t show. Even then, the turtleneck doesn’t stay up well. I regret my purchase, and would not recommend.

The crucial element!
I reach for these mock necks, with their snug wrists, everyday in Fall, Winter, also Spring here in Maine, as the basis of my wardrobe. They are hard wearing and colorfast and ideal layering components. I would love to have one (or 2) in shell pink!

The fabric is a medium weight cotton... not flimsy. I'm 5ft 3 in 138 pounds and the petite medium fit perfectly.
